Symbiosis Institute of Design

It was the time I made a good friendship with the young entrepreneur Kenney Jacob who have more experience of life and Industry than me. I had an offer from them to join their new venture ayruz Ltd. a startup based in Cochin, Kerala. I continued with them as as their lead designer for the pas two years gathering some knowledge about the world around me. Now its almost my time to continue my academics – with the skill I discovered, I will be joining the Symbiosis Institute of Design. Pune, Maharashtra. for my B.Des program in Communication Design. I hope i’m still a good student who can continue in the class for a session without getting frustrated – I know its a big challenge after a LONG Vacation like this. Now lets see what kind of a Designer I will be.

If it was a logical/technical error apple might have corrected it with iPad even if they couldn’t do it with iPhone 3Gs. That is why i posted it to my blog asking other designers like you, Why apple placed a White Square on that “Home” button of iPhone / iPod Touch and iPad.

They have used the standard icon on power button of all their devices – which re-designed many times, Never replaced them with the familiar home icon – allowing to distort the meaning.

But in the case of “Home Button” of iPhone/iPod/iPad they replaced the familiar home icon with a Stupid Square. Why ? Any clue ?

• Get a DSLR – and get out of the four walls of my room.

• Launch Untitled Project. – WebApp
• Get featured in popular websites.
• Try to disclose things – without writing “NewYear’s resolution 2011”

Review of 2009

Successfully Did

• Downloaded books to learn php
• Minimized use of IMs
• Won the Mathematics exam which I failed.
• Learned to Keep Secrets
• Follow that ‘girl’ until she looks at me.

Supposed to Do. – But didn’t

• Join DJ Academy of Design
• Re-Launch FeatherPot
• Learn php
• Dump Orkut
• Minimize the use of internet and SNS
• Become active in blogging like One post in two days.
• Make ‘her’ walk with me.
• Become the King.

Don’t even thought, But Happened

• Joined Ayruz as Lead Designer.
• Bought my first Mac – MacBook Pro
• Get 500 Followers on twitter without following 250 !! – Crazy uh ?!
• She slapped my face !!
• Everything I said above was a dream.

So thats my New Year, and the Year passed by !!

Something Disturbing

There is not just good things in a week… Bad, disturbing things can also happen, Something like that happened to me this week is the sudden death of Salman Mehmood. I don’t know Salman personally. But he was my twitter follower, was a petient suffering from meningitis. Said bye to all of us on 19th of October 2009. (his twitter ). I came to know about his problem via tweets from my friends in PK. May god forgive him all his sins. Rest in peace.

Don’t you remember my tweet saying.. I am Awesome ?!.. Yeah in fact I made it a true quote now. Atlast I setup a personal blog under my domain.. Thinking about writing things I like, I dont like.. and bla bla bla..

I know you’ve missed that tweet.. Not just that.. Many of my tweets, Not a mistake or a bug in twitter codes… It is because – you are not following my updates.. lol! ok Just wanted to tell you that I am an avid twitter user, Often talk to my friends on facebook.
